Year 2025

A Quiet Pause Before the Year 2025

As the Year 2025 comes to an end, I have found myself slowing down in a way I have not done in a long time. I am not looking at numbers, targets, or milestones. I am looking at the person I have become while building Casa Lontano. This year has changed Casa Lontano, and it has also changed me. When I think about it, there are a few things I learned this year that helped me get through it. Casa Lontano is a part of my life, and it has taught me a lot about myself.

Health is Wealth

Building things can be really tough on you. The truth is, your body remembers all the work you put into it , it keeps track of everything. When you are building something, your body feels all the strain and pressure. Building is demanding, that is for sure. Your body keeps the score.

This year showed me one important thing, if your health is not good, nothing else works. I have been running Casa Lontano, and it has been really tough. The days are long. I am always on the go. My schedule is never the same. It takes a lot out of me. Sometimes people do not even notice how much energy it requires.

I realized that if the person in charge is always tired, their plans will not work. So I stopped thinking that I would deal with my health later. Now I make sure to take care of my health every day. I sleep, move my body, eat well, and rest. These are not things I can skip anymore. They are the basics that everything else is built on. Casa Lontano needs me to be healthy so it can keep going.

Mental Health Matters

Strength is Not Just Endurance

Being an entrepreneur looks really good from the outside. When you are actually doing it, you have to deal with a lot of personal things. You make decisions, take risks, and figure out what to do when things are not going well , often by yourself, of course with the support of your team.

This year I learned that taking care of your mental health is not about acting like everything is okay when it is not. Entrepreneurship is not just about the business. It is about learning to pay attention to what is going on inside you, slowing down, and understanding what you are really feeling. For me, the hardest part of 2025 was not my entrepreneurial journey. It was keeping my thoughts and emotions steady when things felt really tough.

Gratitude Attitude

The way we look at things changes everything. When we see things from a different perspective, it feels like seeing them for the first time. Perspective allows us to understand life in a new way, and these differences in perspective are what truly make the difference.

To be honest, this year did not go as I had hoped. But I learned something from almost everything that happened. When I began to appreciate new ideas, the people I met, the small things that went well, and the quiet moments, life became easier. Being thankful did not change what was happening to me. It changed how I felt about it. What made the difference was gratitude, for the people, the small wins, and the quiet moments.

Learn & Grow

Becoming Is a Continuous Process

When I look back at 2025, I see that the person I was at the start of the year is not the person I am at the end of it. I made mistakes. I had conversations. I faced challenges. I had many small moments where I learned something new. These experiences helped me become a better leader, a better listener, and a more patient builder.

My growth did not happen in dramatic moments. It happened slowly and quietly , and then suddenly, it was very clear.

The Power of Manifestation

When you focus on something, your energy becomes directed toward that thing. That is why it is said, where your focus goes, your energy flows.

This year taught me that what I truly want can actually happen. The things I thought about, spoke about, and worked toward slowly became my life. It did not feel strange or magical. It felt like alignment. When my values, actions, and vision worked together, things began to unfold in ways that were hard to explain but easy to feel. Intention is powerful, and this year showed me that clearly. My intention shaped my reality.

Love & Light , Today, Every Day

The way you move through the world truly matters. It affects both you and the people around you.

In 2025, I chose to be kinder, more patient, and more present , for others and for myself. The truth is, we never really know what someone else is going through. Leadership does not have to be loud or tough. Sometimes leadership is simply being there for people, staying calm, and being gentle when it matters most. Kindness and patience are forms of strength.

Self-Love: Celebrate Self

Self-love means being kind to yourself and taking care of yourself. It means appreciating who you are and respecting what makes you unique.

  • Some ways to practice self-love:
  • Be kind to yourself
  • Take time to do things you enjoy
  • Eat well and move your body
  • Get enough rest

You have to love yourself before you can truly show love to others. Celebrate yourself every day.

Honouring the Journey

This may be the most important lesson I learned this year. I learned to appreciate myself , the work, the discipline, the risks, the late nights, and the small victories no one else sees. Loving yourself is not ego. It is respecting the path you are walking and the person you are becoming.

Closing Reflection

As I wrap up 2025, I feel deeply grateful , for the lessons, the people, the challenges, the growth, and the moments that shaped me. Casa Lontano continues to evolve, and so do I. That feels like the real success of this year. I step into the next chapter not chasing perfection, but choosing presence, intention, and becoming a little better each day.

Wishing you all a very happy new year!!
